Montalto is an ancient medieval castle absorbed in the beautiful Tuscan countryside near Siena. Part of the castle itself and the houses surrounding the small village, renovated with care, are available as farm stays and villa vacations. The estate of 300 hectares includes a swimming pool, a tennis court, large forests for pleasant walks, and wonderful views of the cultivated valley.

Inside the walls are available 5 houses and 5 apartments. The rentals are weekly, generally from Saturday to Saturday. Each is decorated individually and tastefully and is complete with kitchen accessories, linens and towels. Most have a fireplace, a washing machine and a private outdoor dining area. They range in size from one to four generous bedrooms plus living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms as detailed.

The charm of the centuries-old village and the beauty of its position in an uncontaminated valley, but easily reachable, make the Montalto estate a memorable place for weddings, receptions, anniversaries, family or business meetings, seminars and other events.
